Zipporah was the daughter of Thomas Peters, because Thomas was the son-in-law
of Vesta Zipporah Choate who married John England and who thenceforth signed
her name Zipporah England. Zipporah Peters and Alfred Carter Cross were married
on 2 May 1840 in Anderson County, Tennessee.34
