She was employed by Emory Valley Center in Oak Ridge for 17 years and was the loving caregiver for Missy and Lee, her family said. Born Sept. 18, 1931, in Anderson County, she was the daughter of Roy and Julie Long Scarbrough. Mrs. Watson is survived by her husband, I. M. Watson; two daughters and their husbands, Ronda and Royal Bruckno of Charlotte, N.C., and Ziena and Randy Roach of Clinton; three sons, Gary Watson, Alan Watson, and Ricky Watson his wife, Teresa, all of Clinton; and an adopted son, Hailie Bokure and his wife, Mebrat, of Ethiopia. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lisa Whatley, Candice Place, Chris Roach, Iran Watson, Garon Watson, Jason Watson, Mark Watson, Devin Watson, William Roberts, Lori Roberts, April Watson and Adam Watson; adopted granddaughters, Mary Bokure and Martha Bokure; two sisters and their husbands, Georgia and Durrell Smith of Claxton and Ann and Paul Penine of Melbourne Beach, Fla.; two brothers and their wives, R.E. and Joreita Scarbrough of Greenback and Carl and Lenda Scarbrough of Clinton; a sister-in-law, Georgia Watson; and by six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Sharon Boudreany was considered her best friend. The funeral was Wednesday, April 2, 2003, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Tony McAfee officiating. A graveside service was to be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, April 3, at Riverview Cemetery.
