Rachel McCray's husband Marshall was raised in Monroe Co. TN and a cousin to

Hammontrees. Rachel's maiden name is unknown.

We
found Prescott as a town in Echols Co., however, it no longer exists. When
James was born it may have been in Lowndes Co.

!Jerusa died 29 Dec 1928 cremated & her ashes were kept at the Karpus home
and
later placed in son (Arno W. Jones') casket in January 1943 in Ft. Rosecrans
National Cemetery in San Diego, California. Verbly from Trenton Karpus grandson
of Jersua.
