Sarah Chapman, and lived in Rhea Springs, Rhea Co. The Wassons were French Huguenots and some of them are still prominent Rhea Co. citizens. (Trying to contact Mary's and Benjamin's descendants, I called a Benjamin Wasson, listed in the Spring City, Tn. telephone directory in 1969. He courteously told me he was a black man!
