M. came to Wise County with Pleas Bryan(t), who settled in the valley near Sand Hill.". R. M. Collins had come to Texas with a man named John Lane. Then on pp 65 (that same book) Pleasant Bryan is listed as a County Commissioner in Wise County in 1860.
