"McCAMPBELL, NAOMI ATCHLEY 97 of New Market, passed away Saturday Sept.
15, 2001 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Kodak United Methodist
Church. Preceded in death by husband, Walter B. McCampbell. Survived by nieces,
Mabel Jo Atkins, Ruby Lewis, Carolyn Scott, Barbara Smith, Lizzie Maples; nephews,
and wives, L. M. and Carolyn Whillock, Bill and Shirley Whillock; special great
niece, Leisa Ellis; several other great nieces and nephews; step children, Evalena
Melvin, Trula Carman, Jack McCampbell, W. B. McCampbell and wife, Stella; special
step granddaughter, Alisa Gil. The family would like to extend a special thanks
to the staff and employees of Jefferson County Nursing Home for the love and
care given to Naomi and for making her last 13 years happy and comfortable.
Funeral service 8 p.m. Monday Fielden Chapel with Rev. William Bradley officiating.
Family and friends will meet at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday at Piedmont Cemetery for
an 11 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends Monday 6-8 p.m.
at Fielden Funeral Home New Market."
